Hoi An - Cua Dai Beach
Thirty kilometres of white sand, part of which was known as China Beach and used for rest and recreation by GIs during the Viet Nam War. The beach is excellent for tropical vacations and swimming is good during the summer. Wbinter surf can be dangerous, but the Da Nang end of the beach is sheltered and therefore safer. There are resort areas at each extremity, each with a small number of hotels on the beach offering a range of water sports and other activities, and many more places to stay further inland. Three World Heritage Areas (Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Sanctuary and Hue Imperial City) are within easy reach and there are plenty of things to see and do in the vicinity. Travel by air from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City or international flight arriving at nearby Da NangTravel by train from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City by day or overnight train Travel by bus from Hue; from QuyNhon.
